Boxes of every kind

From the transit case to the magnetic box with a fitted insert — we make all of them, in the same house. It starts with the board: corrugated where strength is needed, greyboard where the box needs a solid body and a surface worth touching, folding boxboard where the box has to fold flat and reach a shelf.

Corrugated

Transit cases, grouping boxes, archive boxes and counter displays. The printed liner is bonded to the corrugated board — a process we call lamination in the corrugated sense, and it is what gives the box a printed surface and the strength of the flute at the same time.

The flute is chosen for the weight of the product, the stacking height and how the goods travel. A case that carries ten kilos and sits three pallets high is not built like a display that stands on a counter.

The same board also makes pizza boxes and takeaway food packaging. The grade is specified as certified for food contact, with a flute that holds the heat and does not go soft under steam. One or two colours on kraft brown, or a white liner where the logo has to print in full colour. Standard sizes or cut to your own — 24, 28, 32 or 40 cm.

Rigid boxes

Greyboard construction: lid-and-base, magnetic closures, fitted inserts shaped to the product. The body is made from pressed greyboard and wrapped in printed paper — which is why the look and the feel are independent of the structure.

This is packaging that is not thrown away after opening: corporate gifts, premium products, and anything where the box is kept.

Folding cartons

Coated folding boxboard — GC1, GC2, GD2 or SBS depending on the grade needed. Cartons arrive flat and are erected on the filling line: food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, textile. Window cartons where the product has to be seen. Finished with matt or gloss film lamination, spot UV, embossing and hot foil.

For food and pharmaceutical packaging the board is specified as certified for food contact under European and US standards.

One family, one identity

When a brand has ten products, the hard part is not one good-looking box. It is that all ten read as the same brand, on the same shelf, in the same colours. That takes colour management from the first run to the tenth, not just printing.

What we need to quote

The product to be packed and its weight. Dimensions: length × width × height. Box type, if you know it — or simply the use, and we will propose one. Quantity. Number of print colours. Finish. Whether you need a physical sample before production. Whether artwork is ready.
